NORMAN
BROWNE
Norman Browne was born in Berkeley, California in 1935. Browne worked as an art professor at four universities. He
is also a free-lance bio-medical illustrator. Browne was trained in both art and biology at universities throughout
California as well as in Washington, Arizona, and Indiana. Browne's first one man show was at The Little Gallery in San
Francisco in 1957. Since that time, he has been involved in
numerous competitions ranging from international to regional. Owners
of his work include Robert Redford and the Sam Walton family. Browne's current art exploration is with fish on metallic leaf in
acrylic over painted clayboard that has been incised.
