CAZARES CAMPOS
Jorge
Cázares Campos was born in 1937 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
He studied at the Regional Institute of
Beautiful Arts of Cuernavaca. Cázares
Campos faithfully reproduces the natural beauty of the Mexican landscape.
He began exhibiting his work in
1960. From1960 to 1973, he was a professor at Diurnal Baccalaureate
Independent University in Morelos. From 1962 to 1966, he was Director of the Garden of
the Art of Cuernavaca. In 1969, he was a charter member of the Museum of Modern Art of
Chilpancingo, Mexico. From 1968 to 1971, he was Director of the Hall
at the Plastic Morelense in Cuernavaca. In 1973, he was a Scholar to Europe
under the Great Commission of the Camara de Diputados,
Mexico City. His honorary positions include being
Secretary General of the Garden Embroiders (Cultural Institution) in
Cuernavaca in 1989 and being a member of the Consultative Council of the City of
Cuernavaca in 1992.
