VIKKI
FIELDS
Vikki Fields lives near San Antonio, Texas.
Vikki studied at University of Texas at San Antonio, the Southwest
Craft Center, and the Houston Museum School. Her academic background
includes a degree in fine arts as well as graduate studies in painting and
sculpture. Vikki has exhibited in many juried shows during the past twenty
years. Her work can currently be purchased at Omega Gallery
(San Antonio TX) as well as the Nuevo Santander Gallery (McAllen TX).
Vikki says, "My choice is to work from life. I find the
color, the composition, and the psychology of life infinitely variable and
challenging." She paints still
lifes, figures, and landscapes from Central Texas and West Texas using the
pleine aire technique.
