ARTHUR GUERRA

     Art Guerra is a native Texan and a Dallas resident.  He taught painting and design as well as lectured on the history and philosophy of art at the Rocky Mountain School of Art in Denver.  Art’s early art years were spent in New York City at the Pratt Institute studying basic design with Franz Kline and sketching with Phillip Gaston and painting with Adolph Gottlieb.  He earned a scholarship to study human figure painting at the Swedish Royal Academy.  Art’s paintings are included in the collection of the Air and Space Smithsonian Museum.  His  work has also appeared in Fortune, Forbes, Science Digest and Time Magazine.
