 JUDITH DE PLATA

     Judith de Plata has studied painting under Feliciano Rodriguez and Artemio Guerra.  In addition, she spent a year taking art and art appreciation classes at Hockaday School.  She learned her exceptional skill at repousse work from Ms. Pastrana.  Judith constantly researches and paints with all mediums including oil, pastel, and watercolor.  Additionally, she does a considerable amount of mosaic and repousse work.  Her love of art is illustrated by her pieces composed on unusual surfaces such as feathers and ostrich eggs.
