This image accounts for perhaps twenty five percent of all retablos. This Virgin appears crowned and supports the nude body of the crowned Child. A scarf is drawn across her right shoulder. The child rests his right hand on her right arm and grasp her right thumb with his left hand. They appear resting on clouds. The frame below, made of glass painted with a floral designs and backed by tin, adds great value to its piece.
