JACK SORENSON

  Jack Sorenson was raised on a ranch just south of Amarillo, Texas where he got first hand experience with horses.  As a teenager, Sorenson broke horses for extra money.  In May 1975, his first solo exhibition was staged at the Webb Galleries and 23 paintings found new homes.  Southwest Art magazine featured this artist in its March 1987 issue.  Sorenson's canvases skillfully capture the many faces of the cowboy experience.
