These handsomely crafted one-piece steel spurs depict a Mexican eagle with a red eye. Inside the heelband they are stamped B.M. for the maker, Baltazar "Toshiro" Millan. Millan currently works in Ecatapec and Mexico City. He creates bits and spurs for many members of the Asociación Nacional de Charros of Mexico City. These spurs are featured on page 78 of the book Bit & Spur Makers in the Vaquero Tradition by Ned & Jody Martin (1997). SOLD |
